The most common business structures are:

  • Společnost s ručením omezeným (s.r.o.) – Limited Liability Company – in most cases
  • Akciová společnost (a.s.) – Joint Stock Company – typical for large companies with high turnover

Standard company registration (s.r.o./LLC) usually takes 5–15 business days, depending on document preparation, notarization, and government processing. Ready-made companies can be transferred in immediately.
